THE EVENT SHOP is PHOSPHENE's retail outlet. Situated in the centre of Stowmarket, in Mid Suffolk (England) it provides a counter for the collection and return of hired stage lighting and sound equipment.
In addition however The Event Shop supplies the man in the street with party goods such as balloons, poppers, streamers, banners and so on, as well as providing fancy-dress hire and sales, face-paints & make-up, wigs, and disco lighting hire & sales. Mail order can be arranged.

The Event Shop is open 9.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. weekdays, closed for lunch between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. and closed at 5 p.m. on Saturdays. You can contact The Event Shop on 01449 770011, or why not call in?

The Event Shop provides a full balloon decoration service for weddings, parties and corporate events within about a fifteen mile radius of Stowmarket.
Helium filled decorative packages start from just £108.20 inc. VAT for a package of a balloon arch (generally over the top table for a wedding reception), 10 helium filled bunches of 3 balloons, bows etc. All delivered and set up for you, ready for when you arrive from the ceremony.
Alternatively we can arrange for balloon bunches to be ready for collection from The Event Shop on the day from just £3.75 per bunch.
We'll help you choose the balloon package the suits you. There is no better value, experienced, balloon decorating service in Suffolk.

If you want to 'do-it-yourself' we supply a huge range of latex balloons from as little as 8p each, and gas filled mylar (foil) balloons from £2.50 fully inclusive for most designs.

For balloon launches and races we can supply latex balloons by the 100 (from as little as £5.50 p.100 inc VAT for 10" balloons, if you buy 500 or more) Gas cylinders can be made available. (remember to book early) The smallest gas cylinder will inflate about 100 10" (50 12") balloons and costs £27.00 including regulator hire. (Plus a returnable £20.00 cash deposit) An 'S' size cylinder will do about 200 10" balloons (125 12" balloons), our price, including regulator hire just £44.00   (Plus a returnable cash deposit of £50.00)  These deposits are returned when the cylinder and regulator come back at the end of the agreed hire period.
 
 

FANCY DRESS HIRE:
The Event Shop carries a range of fancy dress costumes. Prices range from about £7.50 to about £15.00 for a night's hire.

We take a £20.00 cash deposit per costume to secure a booking, you pay the hire fee, in addition to this deposit, when you collect your hire, you get the deposit back on return.

The Event Shop carries a range of 'dressing-up' accessories to buy, as well as wigs from just £3.50
There is a selection of paper serviettes etc., together with greetings cards (at just 50p each)
The stock includes Professional Stage Make-up, from Leichner..the brand leader, and an extensive range of Snazaroo Face Paints. (just £2.99 for an 18ml tub....which will cover over 100 faces!) Snazaroo is the choice of the face painting industry.
